What is obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)?

OCD is a condition affecting thoughts and behaviors. About two in 100 people in the United States have OCD, which is characterized by obsessions (unwanted or repetitive thoughts) and compulsions (ritualistic behaviors).

What are the signs of OCD?

OCD may contribute to:
